Jestic Foodservice Equipment is pleased to announce the acquisition of Malibu Corporation Ltd (Malibu), a long-established distributor of foodservice equipment based in Trafford Park, Manchester.
Malibu was founded in 1982 and has built an enviable reputation as a family-run business supplying quality catering equipment including heavy duty griddles, ventless fryers, ice cream machines and drawer warmers to casual dining and quick service restaurants, hotels and convenience stores across the UK.
Speaking of the acquisition, Ben Dale, Jestic Managing Director explains the obvious synergy between the two companies’ philosophies:

Malibu will continue to operate as a separate company under the existing name however, Jestic will be investing heavily in the facilities at the Manchester site in order to create a fully-equipped test kitchen and meeting facility for Jestic customers in the North of England.”
Tony Keating, former Malibu owner and current Managing Director will continue to be involved in the business for the foreseeable future.
