Ready Steady Cook with Jestic!
As the leading equipment distributor to the foodservice industry, Jestic Foodservice Solutions is proud to support the Association of Culinary Excellence (ACE) ‘Ready Steady Cook’ competition which this year, is being held for the first time since 2019 and will celebrate the 25th anniversary of the competition!
The ACE Ready Steady Cook competition comprises 12 teams of professional chefs, from catering companies including Restaurant Associates, Sodexo, Vacherin and Blue Apple. As supporters of the cook-off, Jestic is providing multiple Mibrasa MH300 Hibachi Grills for the chefs to use. Teams will be cooking two main course dishes (two portions of each), one for tasting and one for presenting.
Speaking of their involvement with this year’s anniversary event, Product Director Michael Eyre comments:

The style of cooking at this year’s competition will take on a completely new angle, as chefs bring in the styles of the current UK food scene. Chefs must cook their first plate to feature their main protein as the star of the dish, to be cooked using live fire. Their second dish must see at least one element cooked using live fire.
