Terms & Conditions

Ordering and Prices 

All charges and prices will be subject to VAT at the prevailing rate, a VAT invoice will be provided via email or post. If an error causes the price or description communicated for goods to be incorrect the company shall be under no obligation to honour the incorrect price. No verbal quotation or estimate will be binding on Jestic Ltd. 

Non-account customers will be required to place a deposit to confirm an order:

  • Standard Items – 25% – Can be used for future purchases in the event of order cancellation
  • Non-Standard Items – 40% – Non-refundable
  • Special Order Items – 50% – Cancellation will incur charge of 100% of order value

At quotation and order confirmation stage you will be advised of the terms & conditions applicable to your order.

For account holding customers:-

  • For “Standard Items” a purchase order is required to reserve stock. An order of 5 or more “Standard Items” will be deemed “Non-Standard”. 
  • For “Non-Standard” items stocked specifically for a customer order a 40% charge may apply in the event of order cancellation.
  • For “Special Order” items a 50% deposit is required prior to factory order, “Special Orders” will incur a 100% cancellation charge once manufacturing has commenced.

At quotation and order confirmation stage you will be advised of the terms & conditions applicable to your order.

ALL Customer Orders

Delivery dates for “Standard Items” more than 60 days from order date may be subject to pricing changes.

An order is only confirmed when Jestic Ltd issues a sales order confirmation detailing the items ordered, customer order number and receipt of any deposit. The sales order document will include the agreed date from when your order will be available for delivery and details of any payments required prior to delivery taking place. 

ALL orders must be delivered within 60 days of the agreed delivery date on the sales order confirmation, failure to take delivery within this time frame may result in your order being cancelled and cancellation charges being applied.

Returned Orders 

No goods can be returned without prior consent and written approval by Jestic Ltd, any return without authorisation will be refused. 

Goods are not sold on a trial basis unless specifically agreed in writing, customers should check specifications and suitability before ordering. 

Costs for returning goods are the responsibility of the customer. 

Re-stocking charges for returned items (assuming items are ‘as new’):
Standard Items – Boxed & Unused10% 
Standard Items – Unboxed & Unused20% 
Non-Standard Items – Boxed & Unused45%
Non-Standard Items – Unboxed & Unused50%

Delivery 

If any order is received incomplete or damaged, notification must be received in writing via email within 24 hours of delivery to: info@jestic.co.uk.

If external packaging is damaged on delivery, reject the delivery or sign for “as damaged” on the delivery note. Please take photographs of any damaged items received and retain any damaged packaging.

Payment 

The title of goods will not pass to the purchaser until the goods are paid in full.

Non account customers must pay in full prior to dispatch, a delay in payment may result in delay in the goods being dispatched. 

Account customers are required to pay within the terms agreed, if payment is not received by the due date Jestic shall be entitled to:- ·        

  • Cancel the contract and / or suspend any further deliveries to the customer.
  • Charge the customer interest (both before and after any judgment) on the amount unpaid, at the rate of 4% per annum above Bank of England base rate until payment in full is made (a part of a month being treated as a full month for the purpose of calculating interest).  Payment history alongside credit reports and trade references will be used by Jestic when setting credit limits and terms with customers.

WEEE Compliance

We comply with the European Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive and offer safe and responsible disposal of old equipment. Products supplied by Jestic Ltd can be collected and disposed of at the end of their useful life. The cost for this service will be charged at cost only.
