Terms & Conditions

All sales made by Jestic Ltd are made subject to our terms and conditions of sale. 

These terms and conditions apply to all contracts of sales for the goods or supply of services between Jestic Ltd and our customers. By placing your order, you will be deemed to have read and accepted these terms and conditions. No variation on these terms and conditions will be binding unless confirmed in writing by a Director of Jestic Ltd. 

Ordering and Prices 

All charges and prices will be subject to VAT at the prevailing rate, a VAT invoice will be provided via email or post. If an error causes the price or description communicated for goods to be incorrect the company shall be under no obligation to honour the incorrect price. No verbal quotation or estimate will be binding on Jestic Ltd. 

Non account customers will be required to place a non-refundable deposit to confirm an order: – 

Standard Items                                  25%
Non-Standard Items                        50%

Account customers will be required to provide a purchase order to secure “Standard Items”. For “Non-Standard” items manufactured specifically for a customer order a 40% non-refundable deposit will be required prior to any factory order being placed; details will be shown on your quotation.                                         

An order is only confirmed when Jestic Ltd issues a sales order acknowledgement detailing the items ordered, customer order number and receipt of any deposit. The sales order document will include the approximate date when your order will be available for delivery and details of any payments required prior to delivery taking place. 

Cancellation and Returned Orders 

No goods can be returned without prior consent and approval by Jestic Ltd, any return without authorisation will be refused. 

Goods are not sold on a trial basis unless specifically agreed in writing, customers should check specifications and suitability before ordering. 

Costs for returning goods are the responsibility of the customer. 

See below charges for cancelled or returned items:

If any order is received incomplete or damaged notification must be received in writing within 24 hours of delivery. If external packaging is damaged on delivery, reject the delivery or sign for “as damaged” on the delivery note. Photographic evidence of the damage is also required and don’t dispose of any packaging. 


The title of goods will not pass to the purchaser until the goods are paid in full.

Non account customers must pay in full prior to dispatch, a delay in payment may result in delay in the goods being dispatched. 

 Account customers are required to pay within the terms agreed, if payment is not received by the due date Jestic shall be entitled to:- ·        

  • Cancel the contract and / or suspend any further deliveries to the customer.
  • Charge the customer interest (both before and after any judgment) on the amount unpaid, at the rate of 4% per annum above HSBC base rate until payment in full is made (a part of a month being treated as a full month for the purpose of calculating interest).  

Payment history alongside credit reports and trade references will be used by Jestic when setting credit limits and terms with customers.

Warranty & Liability  

Goods supplied by Jestic Ltd are guaranteed in accordance with the terms of the manufacturers’ warranty provided with the goods or for 1 year if not stated with the goods. Goods supplied outside of the UK mainland will only be provided with a parts warranty only.

Equipment must be installed as per the manufacturer’s instructions.  

Should a unit have a manufacturing defect this will be covered, our warranties do not cover breakdowns that have been caused by misuse or deliberate damage by an operator. Should a warranty call be placed and either an engineer visits site or the goods are returned to Jestic and no fault is found, the purchaser will be liable for the full cost of the call out and labour time spent on site / working on goods.

Jestic Ltd accepts no liability of whatever nature arising as a result of any representations, breach of contract, late delivery of product, negligence or otherwise including but not limited to any liability for indirect or consequential loss, or loss of profits, revenue, business or goodwill except for liability for death or personal injury by Jestic Ltd’s negligence.
